Catholic ABC’s The Book: This is the most important tool you will need to run this preschool program! Everything here helps you support that.

ABC Saints: These are now available as a download, and match the Catholic ABC’s Saints of the week! These include the Saints from A-Z in both black and white and in color. The Saints are printed, colored, cut, and glued around toliet paper tubes to make them stand up. These fun characters are loved by children of all ages!

How To Implement Hands-On At Home: A very in-detail post about the nuts and bolts of having Montessori inspired activities in your home. This post will walk you through what is affordable, reasonable, and DO-able. 🙂

Pre-K At Our House: Ever wondered exactly how I implement preschool in our actual home? Peek in on one complete week. I also explain in this post how we use All About Reading for preschoolers with Catholic ABC’s. They’re a great pair!

Prayer Table Set-Up: Some specifics of the prayer table I use for Catholic ABC’s closing circle time.

Catholic ABC’s Scripture Verse Cards: A free download with all the Catholic ABC’s scripture! Now it’s easier than ever to help your kids on their Scripture memorization journey.

Scripture Memorization System: A system to use your scripture cards in a spiraling-type program so the kids are reminded of their past Scripture verses. This system really works!

Other Recommended Preschool Curriculum: Catholic ABC’s is a complete religious curriculum for preschoolers. I start it when they are 2. By the time my preschoolers are in pre-K, I generally add a few more things. You can see what those things are here.

Introducing Preschoolers To Letters: I have a post that will help you avoid 4 common pitfalls when introducing preschoolers to letters! Check it out here.

Letter Writing Practice Video: This video shows kids exactly how to write each letter in uppercase and lowercase while providing them with the most common pure letter sound. Take advantage of this free video!

Bible ABC Crafts: I did this series when I tweaked Catholic ABC’s to work in a protestant co-op we joined. I read the Bible stories from the Children’s Bible, and made a Bible series of crafts.

Catholic ABC Crafts: Some of these are different than the crafts in the book. In general, I like the crafts from the book better for various reason, but when you’re in a pinch for supplies this list can be worth checking.

Weaving The Faith Into Your Child’s Life: My theory on how and why to start teaching children about their faith at a young age.

Liturgical Wheel Craft: You know the Liturgical wheel I recommend making on page 37? Well, it’s now printable!

*Coming Soon* Grab Bag Ideas: When you’re stumped for ideas of things to put in your weekly grab bag, these ideas can help you out of a bind.

Alphabet Sensory Bin: How I adapted the grab bag to be used at home all week.

ABC Snack Ideas: I’m cooking my way through the alphabet with my 4 year old, so you can find fun alphabet snacks from A-Z!

Sorry for missing your comment. The Catholic ABC’s Curriculum is only available as a printed book and not available as a downloadable file.

    Hello!

I absolutely love your curriculum!! I purchased about two years ago. I see that you have added quite a few things to the curriculum. I was wondering if there is an option to get the new material if the curriculum was previously purchased or at a discounted price?

    • Hi Kristina –

The actual book is still exactly the same as it was two years ago – no additions or changes have been made. Any additional things mentioned on this resource page that aren’t included in the book are things that you can get on the site in other posts (just follow the links) – some free and some at an additional cost.

    Hello,
How do you teach the unit studies? I am using this curriculum for a co-op. For example, do you discuss unit 1 – Creation for several weeks until you get to advent?

  6. Alice Hengehold says

    Hello,
I would like to know how many worksheets there are per letter?
    Thank You,
    Alicia

  7. Hello, wondering if this curriculum has ever been used for kindergarten religious ed? Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    • Thanks for asking, Jeanne! I thought the book could be used for kindergarten religious ed, even though it was listed as a preschool curriculum. However, the book is no longer available, and we’re coming out with a newly expanded program at the beginning of August 2022. It will definitely be something that can also be used at a kindergarten level.
