God’s Eyes or ‘Ojo de Dios’

I have fond memories of crafting God's Eyes as a child. I guess some Christian crafts just don't go out of style :-) They symbolize the all seeing eye of God. This craft is great for kids of a wide age span, and the materials are easy to come by! I was thinking that making some red white and blue God's Eyes (or Ojo de Dios) would be a fun activity for the 4th of July, followed by a prayer … [Read more...]

Father’s Day- Don’t Forget your Priest!

Don't you call your priest "Father"? He can't have biological children of his own, so I think this is a nice time to show him some appreciation! :-) I came up with this craft for packaging your Father's Day gift to your priest. It's a sort of a counterpart to all the "necktie" stuff you see for regular Father's Day gifts. What you need to make your "Priest Necktie" White and Black felt or … [Read more...]

Remember that the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart, so you still have plenty of time to make your wreath. Also, I feel like the red roses give it a patriotic look that will go with your 4th of July decor :-) Head over to Family … [Read more...]

Tie Dye Catholic Shirts- Sacred Heart, Immaculate Heart, and Divine Mercy

What is better in the summertime than tie dye? To make it extra fun, these are styled after the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart Of Mary, and the Divine Mercy! We made a Sacred Heart shirt for my son, and Immaculate Heart shirts for me and the girls. Then my daughter insisted that "Daddy needs one", so I made a "Divine Mercy" shirt for him. (I didn't think my husband wanted to wear a shirt … [Read more...]
