  1. You are so creative! Thank you for sharing all of this and more on your site! I used to love to play Mass as a child and this would have been great to have! I will definitely be making these for my little one to play with. I also teach Sacramental Prep 2nd year so this will be a wonderful visual tool for them!

I will be praying that your creativity continues to flow… We love it!

  2. I am SOOO excited to see this. I teach the Sacrament classes for our small parish and my 5 little 3rd graders will love doing this throughout this year in preparation. Thank you so much for sharing!

  3. Oh my goodness, this is SO WONDERFUL! I bought a kit years ago, but the pieces were so small. This set that you’ve created is so creative and a nice size. My son is older now but I’m going to make these pieces for my First Communion class. They will love it. Maybe I’ll make a set for each class! 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing these ideas and with the pictures, which help so much. God bless you and your family!

  4. After making the altar kit from a while ago, and with having 2 boys and a little girl, I started thinking about all the other pieces of a mass kit so they can all play together. I love this series. My oldest has been particularly interested in the bells at mass lately. I love that because he is focusing at one of the most important times in mass. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!

  5. When are you going to put the “Coming soon” objects on the website?

  6. Hi,

I love this idea and bought all of the supplies for it. However, I was wondering which brand of gold spray paint you’d recommend? I’m concerned about the reality of my children putting these toys in their mouths, especially with the chalice. I’ve contacted Krylon and Rust-Oleum, both of whom recommended not using their products on items that kids may put in their mouths. Have you found a nontoxic spray paint? Thanks!

  7. This is so cute! My fiancee was just telling me that he used to ”play Mass” when he was a child. This is a really good idea for a lesson for my first grade CCE class as well.

    Thank you!

  8. Have you made a sacristy cabinet for your mass articles?

Say, would you mind posting the instructions for the Mass bells? We’re making Mass kits in Blue Knights, and I can’t find instructions for the bells anywhere.
    Thanks!

    • Yeah… I never finished these posts and I should. Just for a heads up I also had an idea to make some with gold pipe cleaners and jingle bells. Good luck!!!

My biggest question for the altar bells is what did you use for the circular handle on top of the popsicle sticks? And how did you attach that securely? Hot glue?
