Catholic How To Draw: Fatima Dancing Sun

I just love the miracle of the spinning sun and I find that youth find it very interesting for 2 reasons. First, a coloring spinning dancing sun in the sky is just a really fun idea and children love to imagine the wonder of this! Secondly, it was witnessed by around 70K people, and reported in real newspapers all over the world at the time that it happened! So that’s pretty awesome!

Today I am sharing a video of how to draw the dancing sun– the miracle from Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal, and I hope that your kids enjoy drawing (and coloring) this one as much as I did!

You can find all of my Catholic how-to-draws here, and be sure to subscribe to my weekly newsletter so you know always know when a new video comes out!

This is a great activity to do with kids for the feast of Our Lady Of Fatima which is May 13, and for the anniversary of the miracle of the sun which is October 13.

I often have people ask me about the markers I use, and they are Prismacolor markers. They are for artists, and a bit pricey, but I find them worth the price and  you can find some here. I have been using Prismacolor markers since I was 14 and I absolutely love them!
