I rarely share and entire post here about just one thing you can buy, but when I do, it’s because I’ve found a real gem, and Classical Kids Christmas is no exception to this rule- this CD is truly enchanting!
I haven’t seen it as marked especially towards Catholic children, which really surprises me! Not only is it chock full of traditional and religious Christmas songs, but it tells the story of St. Nicholas, and tells about traditions around the world such as celebrating St. Lucy day, and St. Thomas day.
All of the traditions, etc that shared are done so in a story format that kids love! This CD also tells about 12th night, and the story of St. Wenceslas, and has traditional Christmas poems mixed in. This CD is like an audio Christmas treasury for kids, and it’s also enjoyable for mom and dad. Don’t you love the ability for timeless resources to enchant people of all ages?
On all of the Classical Kids CD’s the songs, poems, etc are extremely professionally put together, flow very well, captivate children, and of course, include Classical music. This series is generally more like a book on tape about a particular composer, but with music all mixed in.

We collect them each time we move onto studying a new composer in our homeschool. The Christmas CD is a great addition to our collection. (I also had one of those proud mommy moments when the kids recognized Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky music on this Christmas CD from listening to the other albums in this collection.) 🙂
I’m officially proclaiming this Classical Kids Christmas one of “Lacy’s Picks.” You can check out all of my picks here.

Oh, we love the Classical Kids series! I didn’t know there was one for Christmas – we will have to get it!
Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve been looking to add to our Christmas music selections for the kids and I’m so excited that this includes Christmas traditions from around the world. Perfect!
