I’m continuing my series, showing you how to make a Mass kit for kids piece by piece. Today, I’m going to show you how to easily craft a sturdy wooden monstrance.

Supplies Needed:
- Wooden candle stick holder (available at craft stores)
- Wooden sunshine (available with the cute wooden cut-outs at the craft store. A snowflake could also work. Look past the colors because you will paint it- just look for shape.)
- Wooden cross (again, craft store)
- Wooden circle, painted white (or white circle of fun foam or felt)
- Hot glue gun and sticks
- Gold spray paint
- Optional: stick on jewels
First, glue the pieces together into the shape of your monstrance. The sunshine goes towards the top of the candlestick holder, and the cross goes on top. Hold off on putting your circle in the middle.

Now you’re ready to paint! I got all of my Mass objects ready first so I could spray paint everything at the same time.
After it’s gold, add your white circle to the middle for the host. We embellished ours with some craft jewels. You’re finished!
