Printable Gifts Of The Holy Spirit Craft

Whether you’re teaching kids about the Holy Spirit because Pentecost is right around the corner, because you have a baptism coming up, or just because it’s a good idea to teach kids about all of the persons in the Holy Trinity, this is a fun an effective way to learn about the gifts of the Holy Spirit!

This download includes all 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The download is offered in the following formats:

  • In black and white (so kids can color it themselves)
  • In full, hand painted color (for easy assembling)
  • And blank, meaning, without words. This is so Catholics teaching in any language can still use this download! (the blank version is also available in both color and in black and white)

You can download yours now for just $2, then your whole family or classroom can make this Gifts of the Spirit craft!

Supplies Needed For Gifts Of The Holy Spirit Craft:

  • Your Gifts of the Holy Spirit craft download
  • Crayons or something to color with (if you want to color it yourself)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • A piece of string or ribbon to hang it from
  • Tape to attach the string

So you start by either printing your holy spirit mobile craft in black & white or in color. Color it yourself if that’s what you chose. Then cut out your pieces. As you can see in the picture below, you don’t have to cut it perfectly.

When you cut out the swirly, you want to cut around the outside circle, but you also need to cut on the inside swirly lines that make it like a snail shell. This is how the magic happens!

On the color version of this craft, I included the scripture Acts 2:2-3 that includes the part of the Pentecost story where the Holy Spirit comes down on the apostles like a strong wind and tongues of fire! 🙂 There are also blank version for filling in any language and/or coloring yourself.

So now you need to use a glue stick, and attach the circle from the middle of your spiral to the bottom of your dove. Then glue the ends of the flames all around the outside of the spiral circle.

    • Hi Marge –

It sounds like you must have clicked an ad on the site and been taken somewhere else that asked you for a credit card for something. I’m sorry to hear that happened and that you thought it was a way to get this project for free, but I’m glad that you caught the charges and that your credit card company was on top of it. (Unfortunately, since it happened on another site, it’s not something that we can fix for you.)

As stated in this post, this is not a free project but is available for $2 by clicking on the pink “Buy Now” buttons in the post or by going to it in the Catholic Icing shop here: https://shop.catholicicing.com/product/gifts-holy-spirit-craft/

  2. How long should it take for me to receive the PDF by email after I have purchased this product? I am a bit concerned I haven’t received anything yet after reading the post above. Please let me know…

    • Hi Nicole,

Can you drop me an email at contact@catholicicing.com? I can’t find anything under the email address you used here, so I’m not sure if there is possibly a typo in the email address as you listed it here or in your order, but it would be helpful to have a last name to look for then. Send me an email and I’m happy to help!

I’ve ordered from Catholic Icing numerous times and NEVER had a problem. I just ordered this craft (for $2) and it was sent to my email in less than a minute. Thank you for all you do!

  4. I pay for the whole Parish to use this activity and can’t wait to start using it. Thank you so much!

  5. Hi Lacy, I have subscribed the monthly membership-do I still need to pay $2 for this project?

    • Hi Ida –

The membership includes the 100+ pages of printables that are available in the membership area each month. It doesn’t, however, include items in the shops on Catholic Icing or Real Life at Home. Very occasionally, we’ll include something from one of the sites, but when we do, it will be in the membership area.
