In the center of each cookie, press down slightly to create a small dent where you cherry will go. This dent should be about an inch wide.

Place a maraschino cherry in the center of the dent in each chocolate cookie.

Bake your chocolate cherry cookies for 9 to 11 minutes and then allow them to cool completely.

Preparing Topping For The Chocolate Cookies

Melt your white candy in a microwave safe bowl according to the directions on the package (this is usually in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval.)

Scoop the melted candy into a piping bag and use that to drizzle the candy back and forth across each cookie, and right over the cherry as well!

These need to fully cool before serving so the candy is set.

Aren’t they beautiful?

But more importantly, they’re absolutely delicious! You really can’t go wrong with cherries and chocolate, especially when you add a glass of cold milk.
