Free Printable Saint of the Day Calendar for October

If you want a visual reminder of some of the saints to remember throughout October, I have the perfect printable for you and your family! 

As part of the Catholic Icing Monthly Membership, Angie and I love making printables that are not only beautiful but also useful in order to help you and your family live the liturgical year at home or in the classroom. While the materials in the Catholic Icing Monthly Membership change every month (and each month is different from year to year), I wanted to pick one of the Decorative Printable Saint of the Day Calendars for each month and share it with you for free! Since October 1st is tomorrow, this felt like the perfect time to share a free October Saint of the Day Calendar. 

This October Printable Saint of the Day Calendar was originally featured in the October 2024 Catholic Icing Monthly Membership printables. If you were a member during that month, you might still have this printable. 

I love coming up with fun and creative ways to celebrate the church year with kids, and October is full of fun Saint feast days to celebrate! Some of these feast days include St. Francis, St. Therese, and the feast day of the guardian angels! The month of October is also dedicated to the rosary. This set includes two 8.5 x 11 (U.S. Letter-size) Litany of Saints in October pages, with one saint listed for each day of October. There are two different font choices included, so pick the one that works best for you and your family or classroom.

To display your Litany of Saints page for October, you can frame the page in an 8.5 x 11 frame, post it on your refrigerator, or do whatever works best for you! This is a great way to keep the saints front and center in your home or classroom.

Extended activity idea: Each day in October, you could look up more about the saint or blessed listed to further incorporate liturgical living into your home or classroom.
