Printable Mary Statue Craft For Kids (And Optional Flower Crowns!)

Honoring Mary is a big part of the Catholic faith, and traditionally you will find Mary statues in Catholic homes, churches, schools, etc. They can be inside or outside, they can be part of a Mary garden, they can be beside the altar- anywhere really! Whether or not you have a Mary statue yourself, now you kids can have their very own, and all you need is a printer! Check it out- a printable Mary statue craft for kids!

This download comes with Mary in both black and white (to color on your own) and in color. She also comes with 2 different flower crowns to choose from- one is roses, and one is lilies. If you print it on card stock it will be sturdier, but it works with paper as well.

Supplies Needed For Printable Mary Statue Craft:

  • Mary statue download (link at bottom of post)
  • Paper or card stock
  • Crayons (or whatever you want to color with)
  • Tape, glue, or a stapler (to connect the loop in the back)

My girls enjoyed coloring their very own Mary statues! I told them they could use whatever colors they wanted, but they wanted to use blue- the most common color of “Our Lady”.

If you would like to “crown” Mary with a flower crown (very traditional during May) you can glue the flower crown of your choice on her head.

After you color your printable Mary statue, you need to cut it out around the outside.

The strip at the bottom rolls into a circle shape. You can connect it in the back with either tape, a staple, or a little bit of glue. We like to use staples.

Now your Mary statue can stand up all on her own!!!

    Hi Lacy,
I’m sorry, I subscribed but still cannot figure out how to download the statue of Mary coloring page. Wondering if you can help?

    Thanks,
    Katie

    • Hi Katie –

You’ll need to refer to either your new subscriber email (if you’re a brand new subscriber) or the latest newsletter that you have received and scroll all the way to the bottom of the newsletter. You’ll find the link to the Subscriber Bonuses page and the password. Once you go there, this project download is currently right toward the top.

      I hope that helps!

      Hi Lacy,
I’m a long term subscriber and I am also having trouble accessing the Mary statue craft. I even went to it as you suggested from the newsletter/email but it just takes you to the main page and then you can’t access or download???

      • Once you click on the link for the Subscriber Bonuses page (from toward the very bottom of the newsletter), it will take you to the site and it will look like a pretty stark version of the site and prompt you for a password. Get the password from the same area of the newsletter as the link to the page. Make sure to put it in just as it appears, as the password is case sensitive. If you don’t put it in correctly, it will not let you in and will just keep asking for a password.

  2. Great job girls 🙂

  3. Thank you so much for this Mother Mary craft. I am a preschool teacher at a Catholic school and we are teaching virtually right now; like most others. I have included this activity in my plans for next week and I know the children will love it!

  5. I am new too, and I also cannot find the download button. I have tried for a couple of days. I do not see a big pink button.
Do you have any other directions to help me?
    Thanks.

The pink button is in this post and says “Buy Now” and it’s for people who want to purchase the project and are not subscribers. It is not on the Subscriber Bonuses page.

      I hope that helps!

  6. Hello! Thank you SO much for sharing your amazing creativity. This Website has been a blessing as we are now e-teaching.

As I am now planning for May, I am having trouble accessing the printable Mary statue. I’m a subscriber and did see the link in the newsletter. When I click on the link for the printable statue, it doesn’t download it for me. Please advise

Is that the link that you clicked on or were you trying to click on something else?

  7. Linda Murphy says

Never received new account info so don’t know how to get MARY cutout

    • Hi Linda –

It looks like you’ve been a newsletter subscriber since 2015. So, if you tried to sign up again, you wouldn’t have received a sign up email because you’re already on the list. All you will need to do is look at the bottom of any newsletter (like the one that went out yesterday evening) and there is a link to the subscriber page along with a password for the page. Just follow that link and use that password and you’ll be able to get to the printable.

  8. Nina Vitullo says

Hello- I have tried to follow the instructions above but can not find the Mary statue printable on the subscriber page and I did type in the password. I was hoping to use it tomorrow for our schools Catholic schools week activity. Can it be posted again or emailed to me? Thank you in advance.

    • Hi Nina –

I’m not clear if you are having trouble getting into the subscriber page with the password or if you’re on the page and just can’t find it. Can you tell me more about the issue you’re running into via email? https://www.catholicicing.com/contact-me/

If you are just having issues getting the password to work, please make sure that the first letter is capitalized and that you are not inadvertently putting in a space before or after the password.

I’m having trouble downloading the Mary statue craft. It is an endless loop returning me to the sign in page. Is there an issue with the website?

  10. Sara Justrabo says

Hi Lacy! I am on the members subscriber’s page but I cannot find a link to the Mary statue craft. I absolutely adore your newsletter and crafts/ideas! Thank you!!

    • Sara –

The table of contents at the top of the newsletter subscribers bonus page is clickable. The statue craft is currently number six on the list (but that changes when we add things). That will take you to that section of the page and there is a “Download it here” link right under the heading that says Mary Statue Craft.
