Post continues after this brief information about the Catholic Icing Monthly Membership
Thank you Lacy! This is much simpler than the one I purchased to share with the kids. And honestly, I love it for myself. Lately my brain is more on a kid level than an adult one so I will be using these. 😉
I was thinking it would be nice for me, too!
Lacy, this is great!! Our Church does have great cards in every pew to follow along but the kiddos would love these too!
You are the greatest!
Love your Advent list too, I noticed yesterday that Oriental Trading had some pretty nice stuff for cheap–and especially looked at those bracelets!
I’m having a giveaway at my blog for an Advent book, it’s actually only around $10 to order too.

Hope you are feeling ok–God bless
Wow! Thank you so much. I’ll need a copy for my choir folder too-so much more convenient than the large pew cards. Passing this on to our playgroup friends.
Thanks Lacy for all of your hard work! This booklet is very helpful. I keep you in my prayers , and much found on your website has been a blessing to me and the kids I teach at Church. Have a very blessed day and wonderful Advent!
Thank you! I’m going to share this with my moms’ group at church.
Thank you so much for sharing this booklet with us. I printed one for each of my boys and one for my mentally handicapped sister-in-law so they can all use them at Mass together! Beautifully done!!!
Thank you so much! I am going to put it in my purse right away so it will be there for Mass.
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! WONDERFUL!
Thank you! I will share this!
Thank you so much! This morning at mass our priest announced that you had these available!
Thank you Lacey! This is awesome! We have a first grader who we are really trying to work with on participating more in Mass since next year will be her first Holy Communion. The revisions are going to throw her for a loop and it will be great to have something that is hers that she can use to follow along! Thanks again! I love your site!
Thank you so much. This is wonderful. I am a kindergarten catechist and this will be so helpful for the kids. I am also sharing this with my choir.
This is great! I think I’ll print copies for my husband and me as well as the kids! I’ll definitely pass this along to my family and friends. Thanks. 🙂
This is a wonderful booklet! We passed them out last night at CCE to learn and practice some of the new responses. Wonderful!!! I saw many of the other teachers picking them up from my stack to incorporate them into their lessons and use for their family. Thank you for making and sharing them with all of us!!!
Fantastic, thank you for sharing this!
Thank you! Thank you!! I love this for my kids, it is helpful in our homeschooling group AND for my Pray and Play group of Mommies!! You are the best… We truly love ALL of your things- thank you for sharing your “gifts”!–(reminds me of the gospel this past Sunday).
God bless you!
Great resources!
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this Lacy!!
Thank you for your dedication. We shrunk it down 75% and are putting it in a 4 x 6 photo album for durability.
God bless you, Betty, Little Flowers Leader
Hi Lacy,
I really love this! I teach kindergarten at at Catholic School in Maryland and I am going to suggest to my principal that we print your booklet for our kids. I think it will be so helpful. My daughter Meagan teaches a first/second grade class in California, she and I both have used so many of your wonderful ideas in our classrooms. Thank you so much for all of the time and care you put into your blog..
What a great idea! So glad to hear you’re finding the site useful. It must be a lot of fun to share the same profession with your daughter! 🙂
Thank you! May I use with my Grade 3 Sunday School students? This is fantastic. Thanks again!
~ Diane
Absolutely! 🙂
I love this, though I printed it with the automatic duplexer and every other was upside down. Something to think about in the future. Thank you!
Ok, for those that want a quick way to print:
I printed pages 1,3,5 and unchecked “Reverse pages” (You could also put the page range in as 5, 3, 1 for most printers.)
Then, I put them right back in printed side up, unchecked “Reverse pages” and put the page range in as 2,4, 6.
Stack them as 6 & 7, then 4 & 9, then 2 & 11 facing up. Fold and staple (optional).
Am giving to my two younger kids! Thanks!
Thank you for this, I will use it with my Pre-K kids, sunday school children and for my own daughters who are 16 and 13(Yes they love these kinds of things even at their ages!!)
I’ll also share it with our Grade school principal and teachers.
God’s blessings always
Julie
Wonderfully done once again. I will be sharing with all our parish ministries that involve children. Excellent work as always and by the way the Preschool curriculum book is a huge hit in our parish….when is the next older kids version coming into publication is the question I am asked a great deal…something to pray over–that is for sure.
So glad the book is working out! I would like to write a book about celebrating the liturgical year, but I doubt if I’ll write another curriculum. Never say never, I guess!
This is wonderful, thank you so much! I tried to find one at the Catholic bookstores around here and they only have adult ones. LOVE!
This is great! Thank you for all of your work & allowing the download for free!!
This was literally a lifesaver. My mentally disabled sister tore it up she liked it so much lol. I am trying to teach her about God and she learns in unconventional ways haha so I was so disappointed when the pew only provides the Mass in teeny tiny font so even I couldn’t see it with my glasses on and I don’t even wear glasses! So I printed this out, and I printed it out for my mom’s class and I printed it out for each of my neighbors who promptly got HOA to kick me out of the neighborhood but that’s fine because the bottom line is that I am spreading the word of God thanks to Catholic Cake. Thanks, Cake! You really were a help in time of need!
I printed these off & used them today as a craft & for our CCD Mass. I have 4th & 5th graders. I simply used a hole punch up the folded side & the kids wove curling ribbon up the side to ‘bind’ it. Even our priest liked them 🙂 Thank you!
Thank you so much!! It might be for kids, but I intend on using them for me and my husband (we’re in our 70’s)!!
Love it! 🙂
I’m the DRE at the Newman Center in Sacramento, CA. Just wanted you to know that we used
your printable Navitiy in our Religious Ed program this past Sunday. I’ve had the entire community saving paper tubes for weeks. The Natvitiy was a big hit with kids and parents
Thanks so much for sharing it.
Thank you so much for this information to print for my god-daughter…
Awesome resource- I love it!
I saw someone with a picture missal for a really young kid. Does anyone know where I can get one? It looked like a free printable.
It led the kid through the Mass with pictures and maybe one word above them.
As far as I know, there aren’t any picture missals for kids yet available with the new translation of the mass.
omgoodness…I have wanted to do this since december for my 11 children but had an MS exacerbation and travel from TX to PA…you get the picture. I now have it to print out. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!! I book marked your blog…love it!!
thank you very much for putting this together! I will share it with the children in my Sunday class.
LOVE this! I’ve been looking for something for my teenagers! (they’re so hard to do crafts with since they think they’re “too cool…”)
Thank you SO much for sharing these! I just subscribed to your wonderful site 😉
Does anyone know how I could turn this into a simple craft for Kindergarteners?
i ave just made some copies for my church members to use during mass….its such a great book ..thanx for the good works
This is great. This is not only for kids but also for Catholics of all ages. Thank you so much for this printable copy. My loved ones and I can really use this during the mass. God Bless!
Wow! I know I’m a wee bit late, but this is just amazing! thank you, thank you!!
kind late to the party, but this is super — I was trying to put something like this together for my RCIA families — thank you for your generosity and your creativity!

Hmmm… not sure why you’re having trouble. ???
Do you still have the free version available to download?
No, I don’t offer a downloadable mass book anymore.
Hi, I’m a Catholic school teacher and I would love it if you could email me the free original booklet. Its going to be impossible for me to buy these for my kids and I starting a lesson on the responese at mass. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you. God Bless!
No, the free one isn’t available anymore. Hope you find something that works for you. 🙂
Hi,
Do you still have the free mass book? I can not seem to find it. I used it last year. I really liked that one. Can you please let me know.
Thanks Mary Rogers
No, the free one is no longer available.
I need a copy of the My Book of New Mass responses, but when I click on the link in downloads, i cannot get it> Please Help!!!
Donna – This is no longer available as a free download. There are these beautiful printed versions for purchase now though: http://www.catholicicing.com/a-picture-book-of-the-mass-illustrated-by-the-masters/
Will this book be available for purchase soon?
Hi Sheila –
Sorry for the inconvenience, but I think they should be available again within the next two weeks. Unfortunately, it took us a while to work out shipping for the books after the person who had been taking care of the shipping for several years suddenly gave a one day notice that they would no longer be shipping them. So, it’s been a logistical issue and we’re in the process of getting the books to the company that will be taking care of the shipping.
