One wonderful way to live the liturgical year at home is to celebrate saints’ feast days all year round! It’s a great way for your family to learn about the Earthly lives of the saints in heaven and to be inspired to add more holiness to your lives. These saint coloring and craft pages were included in the Catholic Icing Monthly Membership from December 2022 – December 2023 (one page per month). One set of pages included in this set is from the Catholic ABCs Preschool and Kindergarten Curriculum.

While this set is primarily in black and white, so you can use it for coloring purposes, three pages are in color as samples. Some of the pictures in this post include examples of those sample pages in the packet in both black and white and in color. There are also some pictures of pages we colored with crayons, colored pencils, or paint to show what you can do with these pages.

I really love this set because I think it offers the possibility of so many activities to do all year.

If you want super low prep without much work, you and your children or students can use them as regular coloring pages. (Or you can use them as mini coloring pages if you cut each page into small rectangles that feature only one saint on the mini “page.”)

However, you can also do all kinds of projects and crafts with these pages, especially if you print them out on cardstock to make them sturdier.

How to Use the Saints Coloring and Craft Packet

You can do so many things with these Saints pages, but here are some specific ideas (for some of these, you might want to print on cardstock to make the project sturdier):

• Color them on their feast days
• Cut out the ovals and tape a loop on the back to make them into ornaments
• Display them on your home altar
• Use them as small individual coloring pages
• Color all of the saints for the month at once or over time
• Decorate and cut out the ovals and use them to decorate cupcakes or other treats to celebrate feast days
• Cut and paste projects

Supplies Needed For Catholic Saints Coloring and Craft Pages Set

There are so many different things that you can do with these saint coloring and craft pages. Because there are so many options, this is not an exhaustive list of supplies you may decide you want to use. However, this is a list to help you get started with things that you might want to use.

• Catholic Saints Coloring and Craft Pages Set (if you prefer, this can also be purchased on Teachers Pay Teachers)
• Printer Paper
• Cardstock (highly suggested over standard paper for durability if you will be using the page to make decorations, cupcake toppers, ornaments, etc.)
• Crayons, markers, paint, or another medium of your choice for coloring the pages or making crafts
• Laminator (This is definitely optional, but I really really love laminating stuff, and that can be helpful on finished crafts or ornaments. This is the laminator I use)
• Optional Embellishments: glitter, ribbon, gems, sequins, glitter glue, puffy paint, pearls, etc.
• Ribbon or string, if you plan on making ornaments
• Tape, glue, or other adhesive if you are using the set for crafts
