The first set of St. Michael holy cards is plain (just says “St. Michael the Archangel”) and then there’s a set for the patron of police, patron of firefighters, and patron of the military. All of them have the St. Michael prayer on the back. Just print them and cut them out, then fold them in half and attach them with a glue stick. These are perfect for little boys anytime, but will be particularly useful for St. Michael’s feast day, the feast of all the Archangels, (also known as “Michaelmas”) on September 29.

Saint Michael Printable Prayer Cards

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

  1. Thank you for sharing.

  2. I love this! My husband converted to Catholicism 3 years ago and took Michael as his confirmation name. He’s in security and immediately connected with St. Michael. I thought it was perfect that this was featured on the day he has an interview for management. Thanks so much for posting!

    • Very cool! My husband’s confirmation name is St. Joseph. It would have taken unbelievable foresight to choose St. Michael for him- lol!

  3. Congratulations to you and your husband! I hope the little ones are all well-behaved for the ceremony so you can enjoy it, but the blessing of a large family can make for a little joyful wiggliness !

  4. Once again, friend, thanks for that! I just finished ‘creating’ an over-sized guardian angel prayer card for the students that they could color and I would laminate (angel on one side, prayer on the other), but I think I will borrow your idea and put guardian angel side-by-side with its prayer on one side of the card and do the same with St. Michael and prayer on the other. Might be more effective if they can see the angel at the same time that they read the prayer, not to mention having both prayers at hand to learn that much faster.

I will add you and your husband in our prayer for law enforcement, military, and firefighters (and their families). My husband has been a sheriff deputy for 20yrs. and he wears his St. Michael medal under his vest. Our society certainly needs good faithful Christian men in law enforcement. It is so important for them to have their safe place and peace at home. God bless you all.

Congratulations! May God protect your husband always. My Dad was a Police Officer for 34 years and loved it! He passed three years ago and I miss him everyday. I pray this prayer for all law enforcement officials out there. Good luck to you guys!

  7. Charlotte Ostermann says

I love your card! When we were in Europe, I loved seeing huge St. Michaels painted on the sides of fire and police stations. I pray for them (especially when I hear sirens). God bless your husband!

  8. many thanks for sharing a printable version of the st. michael prayer. st. michael also protects the sick, and, of course, those under attack from satan and his minions. many thanks for sharing a prayer i’ve really needed.
