We have been continuing on our journey of religious notebooking, and today we covered the topic of Jerusalem, Elijah, Jonah, and more! I have been creating these notebooking pages as a series to go along with the book Tell Me About The Catholic Faith, but you could certainly use these to teach kids about the Old Testament whether or not you are reading that book. At The City Gates
I like this page- my kids loved reading everything happening around the city. I made a printable notebooking page designed to let them draw and write about some things they found interesting. There’s a version where they write their own sentences, and another one available for younger children where you can trace a sentence rather than writing your own.

Elijah Notebooking Page
This is another page where they had to convey a lot of information about 1 person in a short amount of space. That’s fine, because that’s what this book does well. I have a simple notebooking page for Elijah where the kids get to draw and write about their favorite part of his story. There is also a version for little kids where they can trace a sentence rather than writing their own.

Jonah Notebooking Page
Given that this story is told in a comic book style, it’s very brief. This notebooking page is just fun- a little maze to help Jonah find his way out of the whale.
