Decorating Easter Eggs With Watercolor Markers

Last year I tried several methods of dying eggs with the kids, and we loved them all! I’m going to be sharing them all with you this year. Check out this first batch!

Decorating Easter Eggs With Watercolor Markers.

One of our favorite ways to decorate Easter eggs is simpliy to draw on them, so that’s just what we did! These eggs were colored on by watercolor markers. 🙂

Pros for watercolor marker eggs:

I love the control you have for these! It’s like… you can actually make those eggs you see on cartoons and stuff because you can draw whatever you want. You don’t need cups and dye and spoons and stuff- just the eggs and markers. Your imagination is your only limitation!

Cons for watercolor marker eggs:

You have to own watercolor markers, so that’s not something everyone has lying around their house. It stays wet for a minute, so you have to keep your fingers out of your work. It WILL turn your fingers colors lol.

This method was super great for actually being able to create Christ-centered Easter egg designs! If you’re looking for a way to make religious Easter eggs, this is it!

My kids just love emojis. Do your kids love emojis? Here’s an emoji egg from our family. 🙂

Here are the watercolor brush markers that we used for this. We also use them for various other crafts and activities, including Bible Journaling.
