I designed this Good Friday scripture lunch to tell the story of the Passion to kids. They receive one food at a time, and each is symbolic to a part of the Easter story. Baking a crown of thorns out of bread is fun and easy. It's great for serving with dinner on Ash Wednesday or Good Friday. You do not have to make homemade bread to do this! We made this super easy Lenten lunch last Friday, and the kids really loved it! It's amazing how 30 seconds of work can dazzle kids.
